KENNY'S GREAT PIES
Kenny Burts was first introduced to Key Lime Pie by his grandparents on trips to Florida. Living in Atlanta, he found it was hard to find a quality key lime pie, so using key limes from his grandparents tree, he began experimenting.
With the help of family and friends, Kenny founded Kenny's Great Pies in1989 and started making pies in his one-bedroom apartment.
Demand for his pies grew so quickly that Kenny eventually moved the operations into a 33,000 sqft facility in Smyrna, GA, a suburb of Atlanta, where we continue to operate today.
In 2020, Kenny passed the reigns to his Chief Operating Officer and brother-in-law, Gary Muter.
